New design
We created a central hydraulic lifting foot coupled with a double-acting platform angle control mechanism. The resulting tail lift requires no modifications to the vehicle and is simply attached to the trailer hitch of a truck, van or even pickup truck. A significant advantage of our design is the direct force transmission to the ground, allowing a lightweight construction for easy and quick attachment and detachment by a single person.
About Us
Felix Schmid, the innovative mind behind this revolutionary tail lift, is from Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. With over 20 years of industry expertise, Felix dedicated extensive hours to crafting this groundbreaking technology. He teamed up with Jennifer and Nicolas Fischer-Knecht, and together they successfully patented their new invention in 2023. While the tail lift is already produced and sold in Europe under license by the Swiss company HESS, it is not yet available in the USA. We are actively seeking manufacturers interested in introducing this innovative technology to the American market.
